Ladies mantel benefits: Ladies mantle is beneficial in the treatment of diarrhoea, heavy, irregular and painful periods, sagging breasts, stretch marks and aging skin. It can also be used to combat itching, inflammation and insect bites.
In medieval times lady's mantle was thought of very highly and it was said that if you put some of the dew from the plant on your face at dawn it would keep you looking young forever. I actually tried this when I was nineteen and now at thirty two I still get asked for ID to buy tobacco and lottery tickets - maybe it works!!!!....... I'm off to plant a whole field of lady's mantle plants so I can roll around in the dew all morning, never age and maybe even turn myself gold in the process!
